Affiliate Links, Sponsorships & Gifted Items
Wolf & Stag is my creativity, my art, my brain and my soul, dumped into pretty pictures and words. It’s also my business, and is how I make a living.
This means I do make money directly from Wolf & Stag.
One of the main ways I earn is through affiliate links. This means that if you click on an affiliate link, go through to the retailer and purchase an item, I may receive a small commission from your purchase — at no cost to you. I will only ever share with you products I love from brands and businesses I want to support, and the affiliate link is always the last step in my post-creation process.
I will sometimes receive money in exchange to promote a product, a brand or a service. This is called a sponsored post. I will always clearly disclose when a post is sponsored, at the end of the post. And trust me when I say: I turn down a lot of paid work to keep the integrity of this blog (i.e. a post on tyres, or liposuction. True stories). I will only ever accept sponsored posts from products and brands I truly love and want you to know about, too.
In addition, I will sometimes be gifted products to test. I am given these as no obligation to post about, although often, I like to — whether to review (positive or negative) or to tell you about a product I love. Anything that has been gifted will be denoted with a (c/o).
Think of all of it this way: it’s stuff I would have rambled your ear off about. But it all helps me make a little more money, to better improve the Wolf & Stag experience.

I do sometimes use other beautiful photographs from lovely people, of which I always attempt to give credit. Sometimes, with Pinterest, even my best searching skills means I can’t find the original author. I will always make that clear, if this is the case.
